The Graduate Studies in Management (GSM) Division anchors the flagship programs at IIFT: MBA in International Business, MBA in Business Analytics,
and the Weekend MBA Programme in International Business. The GSM Division plays a pivotal role in providing administrative and academic support to
full-time and weekend MBA programmes, aligning them with global standards of education and industry relevance.
The GSM Division is committed to delivering a robust academic and administrative experience for students. Key responsibilities of the division
include:
• Programme Management: Overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of courses, including faculty allocation and session planning.
• Examinations & Assessments: Conducting examinations, vivas, dissertation projects, and managing the Social Awareness Programme.
• Student Support: Handling all aspects of student relations, including discipline, non-academic / co-curricular activities, and overall student welfare.
• Experiential Learning: Organizing port visits, industrial visits, and student exchange programmes to provide practical exposure.
• Knowledge Enrichment: Hosting guest lectures, workshops, seminars, and related academic events to bridge theory and practice.
The GSM Division ensures that IIFT’s programmes remain contemporary and aligned with the dynamic needs synchronized with the global economy. With a dedicated focus on academic excellence, the division collaborates with stakeholders—including faculty, students, and industry partners—to enhance learning outcomes and provide a holistic educational experience.
Each programme is managed by experienced members of faculty who are Programme Directors and receive support from a team of Programme Associates, ensuring efficient and smooth learning journey for students. Administrative support is offered by senior members of staff. Overall, the division is supervised by a Professor as Head of the Division.
