TLC, The Leadership Cell

As budding managers in a rapidly evolving world, it is imperative to learn and understand the fundamentals of effective leadership to spearhead change and become active participants in the contemporary fast-paced corporate setup. The Leadership Cell at IIFT Kolkata aims to organize events and offer resources to help students improve various determinants of a strong personality such as self-belief, self-awareness, accountability, discipline, etc. We have taken up the responsibility of helping the students become aware of these traits, and hone and develop them even further.  The club is a forum for students who wish to incorporate a holistic personality development program as a part of their career goals.

Our activities include

• Run psychometric tests to help students analyze and work on their strengths, weaknesses and overall personality traits.
• Conduct the Leadership Talk Series, where inspiring, eminent personalities and leaders in their respective discipline interact with the students of IIFT Kolkata and instil a sense of effective leadership.
• Teach management, discipline and leadership through lessons in philosophy, psychology and neuroscience that enable the students to be more mindful and thoughtful leaders in the industry and beyond.
