Connectivity in Campus

The campus has a fibre optic cable backbone of 1 GB capacity that helps connect all buildings. For intra-campus connectivity, a copper Ethernet network is in place, which has a 125 Mbps capacity.

For its wide area network (WAN), the Institute uses two leased line connections, one between Delhi and Kolkata and the other between its campus in Qutab Institutional Area and C-9 Hostel. The line between Delhi and Kolkata is of 15 MB and that between C-9 Hostel and Qutab Institutional area is 2 MB.
