About Student Exchange

IIFT Exchange Programme is an outcome of the institute’s academic collaboration with some of the leading institutions across the world. The academic collaborations are an endeavour towards showcasing IIFT’s legacy of over four decades and at the same time to also gain from the expertise of the partner institutions. Each of these partners has created a name for themselves around the world. These collaborations are mainly for student and faculty exchange programme, joint collaborations on research and various other capacity building exercises.

Most of the B-Schools that IIFT has ties with are Triple Crown Accredited B-Schools. There is always a scope tom learn from this B-Schools about how these keep themselves updated according to the latest technology and trends across the Globe.

During the Pre-Covid era from 2018-20, there were around 91 students who were involved in two-way International Mobility. And, in 2022-23 session 34 Outbound Students who have taken part in the Student Exchange Two-Way Mobility and 14 Inbound Students are coming to IIFT. IIFT have Two-Way Mobility with 16 International B-Schools and have signed General Memorandum of Understanding with 38 B-Schools across the Globe.

Exchange schemes have a number of advantages, not least their generally low costs.  Because students are exchanged between one partner university and another, costs such as tuition fees, health insurance and student housing are paid by the student at their own university before travelling, making the cost almost the same as a normal academic session.
