Toastmasters Club

Conquering your fear of speaking in front of an audience is an incredibly effective way of boosting your confidence and becoming a natural leader. It is hard to speak through your fear, but we appreciate your intention to develop yourself and welcome you with open arms in a warm and welcoming environment.
At IIFT Kolkata Toastmaster Club,  our mission is to empower our batchmates to become more effective communicators and leaders by being a catalyst for their personal growth and greater self-confidence. We have organized contest like Table Topics, International Speech Contest(ISC), Humorous Speech & Speech Evaluation alongside “Speak To Lead” successfully on the very first few months of being chartered. Due to consistent performance, we have achieved the status of Distinguished club in our first year from Toastmasters International. We have a series of events lined up for upcoming days.
A student-led body, we are part of Toastmasters International, a world leader in communication and leadership development. During this journey, members learn to craft and narrate stories. They listen and provide feedback. They master themselves in structuring impromptu speech. Your Toastmasters journey will help you learn to speak with authority and communicate clearly and effectively through our proven educational program. Whether you plan to actively speak in public outside of the club or not, the communication skills gained from honing these skills will have a great impact on your life  & career.
